The Great Dog Experiment ended roughly a month after it started, as Gleason left us to stay at a new foster home with other dogs. The thought was that he might have fewer issues if he had some other dogs around to keep him company. Seems to have been the case.

Mom was sad to see the big guy go. I was a little sad, too, but mostly Dad and I were glad not to have to share Mom with someone anymore.
