Marcus Neulander, aka Little H, 32.5 weeks, has officially learned how to sit up on his own. He spent the last several nights practicing in his sleep. Which made for an interesting sleep arrangements for his mom. When asked for comment, the sleep deprived woman said, "It's great. We're so excited... Zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz".

Marcus is also perfecting crawling. Thus far, he has completed only one lap of his rug and Bozana quilt, but he really started trucking when he saw his favorite new toy this morning:

Amazing how fast that little fella can move when there's a Melissa & Doug rainbow stacker involved. The cats, yet to realize what's in store for them, refused comment and continued trying to enter Marcus's room. They are certain there must be food in there somewhere.

Marcus's father has even witnessed these amazing feats, " It's the best b-day present. Ever. Except for maybe that fantastic cake my wonderful wife made me. That was pretty tasty."

Both parents acknowledge the need for video footage documenting these new acts of super-babyness. "He just moves so quick," noted Mom, "and it's all so new that I haven't had a chance to run downstairs for the camera." Guess it's a good thing her knee is on the mend again: She's going to be running around a lot more.

NOTE: All baby gate donations may be sent to Marcus's home address.
