Utah: The posts will never end

You may have been wondering about the rest of our fun Utah trip. Between trying to find those cool boots I tried on and waxing nostalgic for these super cool glasses (yes, they are pink with flowers for the arms) and the fun babysitter, I lost track of time.

And then when we got home I had nasty teeth to deal with. Why, oh why, must they come in 4 at a time?
And then Mom got Strep throat. Which was a total bummer. She was not in a good place... But she's mo' betta now.
So, without further ado, here's all the photos in a slideshow.

Utah Vol. 2

Here's a few more pics from our ski trip. I had never seen so much snow, look at how high the snow bank is in this picture from "downtown" Park City:

On Ash Wednesday, Dad decided to take a break from skiing so we could go to town for some ice cream. Here's a picture of me and Mom on Main Street. Java Cows ice cream parlor is just up the hill (no pictures because we were too busy eating).

Park City rocks! Not only is there a ski lift right in the center of town, but it hosts the Sundance Film Fest every year. Can't wait to go back when I am old enough to watch movies.

Utah Vol. 1

We took a ski vacation during Mardi Gras to Park City, but I only got to ride the gondola.

Here are some pics of me & Mom and me & Dad riding the lifts:

Jaba hungry

You'd never know that I had a stomach virus last week. It was pretty nasty. I'll spare you the gory details of my dramatic weight loss, suffice to say my grocery bill was a lot lower. But now, NOW, I'm feeling muuuuch better. And eating most anything Mom sits down in front of me. Within reason.

I don't know what this "frozen yogurt" stuff is that she keeps offering me, but I'm not touching it with a ten foot pole.

That said, her quinoa+shrimp+feta+tomato dish looked quite appetizing. Looked being the operative word here, folks. I'm feeling better, not insane. Ditto on the eggs and meat. And cheese.

Gross.

Anyhoo, so I'm trying to plump back up (if only Mom can keep up) and having a lot of fun with it. Vans Multigrain Waffles with Vitamin Boost? Delicious! Food in pouches? Even better! Ok, maybe not, but it's pretty tasty.

Bon Appetit!

Futbol

Recently, I started playing a game called fetch. I take great joy in it. Mostly I play it with myself, though Mom and Dad seem to think it's a lot of fun and always say, "gooood boy."

This game is apparently the precursor to soccer. Except I use my hands.

Check it out -- it's almost as if someone knew about my blossoming mad skillz:

My Aunt Chavie got me this cool futbol jersey on her recent trip.

Here's the back:

Mandatory calisthenics

People are always asking Mom why I'm so healthy as I never seem to catch the other kids' colds...

Here's her secret: Mandatory calisthenics -- pull ups with Dad

Of course she isn't mentioning the snake blood or fire walking, but we can't expect her to share all the secrets of success.

Besides, I'm actually a little under the weather right now, so maybe she isn't as tricky as she thinks. Though this is only my first cold of the season.

Ah well, I will continue my mass production of snot today just to show how amazing I am. Diversification is really the key to success. Or so Vanguard says.

Snow Boots

What what!?! you might be saying to yourself right about now.
Is that a fantastic 2nd hair cut we detect?
Yes, but you digress...

Back to my snow boots...

While they are fabulous for strolling about our kitchen, they really aren't for here*; they're for vakay. As you may know, Mom and Dad are getting the heck out of dodge for Mardi Gras this year: Utah. I'm not sure how much skiing they'll really be doing, but it'll be a nice change of scenery. I'll be checking out the mountain's day care, which could go really well. Or really wrong.

Regardless, it's really a win-win situation: Tenzing got a box, and I got snow boots for for wandering the mean streets Park City.

* unless Mom pulls the old New Orleans fur coat trick: turn the AC on and get the house nice a chilly so I have a chance to wear them here
